Harlequins Foundation proud sponsors of Team Richmond in the London Youth Games 2017

After nine months, dozens of competitions and 28 top ten finishes, Team Richmond finished in 3rd place in the Jubilee Trophy standings at the 2017 London Youth Games.

Over the weekend of Saturday 8th July and Sunday 9th July, Team Richmond competed in the Crystal Palace finals weekend which saw the 2017 London Youth Games season come to an end. More than 140 participants from 22 schools within the borough were up against stiff opponents in their respective competitions to see who would be crowned London’s best.

On the success of Team Richmond - Head of the Harlequins Foundation - Victoria Hartley said:

“It's fantastic news that Team Richmond finished in the top three once again. We are thrilled to contribute and to continue to provide opportunities for children in the local Borough to participate in this great event.”

Harlequins and the Harlequins Foundation look forward to welcoming Team Richmond to The Stoop on Wednesday 13th September to celebrate the achievements of all their talented athletes, team managers, coaches and volunteers.
