Harlequins U18s to finish regular season away at Exeter

Tuesday, 12th February 2019 @ 12:30

Harlequins U18s will finish their Academy League Southern Conference fixtures with a re-arranged fixture at Exeter Chiefs U18s taking place on Wednesday 13th February (kick-off 16:30).

The initial fixture - due to take place at Callywith College, Bodmin - was postponed when arctic conditions hit Devon and Cornwall ten days ago.

The young Quins have already qualified for the Premiership Rugby U18s Academy Finals Day and will finish third in the Southern Conference finishing just behind Gloucester Rugby and Bath Rugby.

With their Finals Day fixture against Sale taking place on Sunday 17th February, the Academy coaches have rotated the squad to give more playing opportunities. The team sees seven players making their first U18 League starts of the season including a welcome return from injury for Tom Allen.

Louis Lynagh will take over the captaincy with regular captain Sam Riley starting from the bench and Ireland U19 international Hayden Hyde will also make his return from injury, at outside centre.
