The fixture details for rounds 1 to 6 of the Heineken Champions Cup have been confirmed.

Harlequins will kick-off the Club’s 2019-20 European campaign on Saturday 16th November with a trip to France, taking on ASM Clermont Auvergne (Kick-Off 18:30 local time), a repeat of last season’s European Challenge Cup semi-final – with Quins seeking revenge at Stade Marcel-Michelin.

Quins will return to The Stoop on Saturday 23rd November (Kick-Off 17:30), hosting fellow Gallagher Premiership Rugby side Bath, before travelling to Northern Ireland, facing Ulster at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday 7th December (Kick-Off 15:15).

The second half of Pool 3’s fixtures, 4-6 see the Club host Ulster at The Stoop on Friday 13th December, followed by a trip to The Rec on Friday 10th January to face Bath and finally hosting French side ASM Clermont Auvergne on Saturday 18th January at The Stoop.

Harlequins' Head of Rugby, Paul Gustard, said: “The Heineken Champions Cup is one of the elite club sporting competitions there is globally, so we are delighted to be back in it competing this year.

“We have worked hard in the last 12 months on and off the field to qualify for this competition, and we are determined to ensure that we respect the endeavour and effort that we as a squad put in last year. We want to make ourselves proud, the club proud and our fantastic supporters proud.

“A round 1 trip to Clermont is a tantalising one for the players and supporters. Clermont are undoubtedly one of the giants of European rugby and are also of course the reigning Challenge Cup champions so will prove as always to be a formidable contest and one that we relish.

“It’s important that we perform at the level required to be competitive and successful across all six rounds if we are to progress through to the knock out stages. As a playing and coaching group we are constantly looking to improve and challenge ourselves to move the team and the club forward and when the time comes to turn our attention to the Heineken Cup we will do so with total vigour and excitement."
