The Game Changer: What’s on

Wednesday, 13th March 2019 @ 18:00

Met Police, England Hockey and British Rowing all confirmed for The Game Changer at The Stoop on Saturday 30th March (kick-off: 14:00)

With less than three weeks to go until Harlequins Ladies take on Gloucester Hartpury at The Game Changer on Saturday 30th March in the final round of the 2018/19 Tyrrells Premier 15s, take a look at some of the fantastic matchday activations that will be on show for all the family to enjoy on the day.

Met Police

We are excited to announce that several branches of the Metropolitan Police will be attending the match as part of their #100yearsstrong campaign that celebrates a century of women’s service in the Force.

In total, there will be eight specialised divisions in attendance including officers from the Mounted Unit on their Police horses; a selection of territorial support officers; officers from the Marine Support unit; Armed Support officers (not carrying firearms); Royalty and Specialist Protection officers; Aviation Police Officers; a specialist police dog and representatives from the Met’s Recruitment and Media departments.

Don’t miss out on this unique chance to meet some of the nation’s most inspiring police officers and celebrate their heroic exploits. They will be staging their range of exciting activations outside Gate 1.

England Hockey

Ahead of their own history-making double-header at The Stoop in June when England’s men’s and women’s hockey sides will play on a unique drop-in pitch as part of the newly-created FIH Pro League, England Hockey will be activating at The Game Changer with their Pana Pitch – a mobile, all-weather surface arena. Head over to the South West Corner on the day to give it a go and learn more about getting into the sport.

British Rowing

Having attended our historic match against Richmond FC at The Stoop last year, British Rowing will return at The Game Changer. They will be setting strength and speed tests on the ergo as they look to unearth the next big thing in their sport. You never know, all goes well you could be competing at the Olympic Games in 2020!

Face Painters and Bouncy Castle

For our younger supporters, head to the King’s Bar before kick-off and get your face painted in the historic Quins colours and have a go on our fantastic bouncy castle!

The Tyrrells Sack Race

Make sure you keep an eye on the pitch at half-time where Tyrrells, the league’s official sponsor, will be running a sack race in giant crisp bags.

The Mighty Draw

The Harlequins Foundation’s Mighty Draw will return for The Game Changer. Tickets are available for just £3 and can be purchased online at or in the stadium on matchday.

This edition’s prizes will include official signed merchandise, places on the Harlequins Foundation’s girls-only SWITCH camps during the Easter holidays and much, much more.

Winners will be announced at half-time on the big screens and on the website. All money raised will support the Harlequins Foundation’s women and girl’s programmes.

The next round of fantastic matchday activations will be announced next week.

The Game Changer (kick-off: 14:00) is included in the 2018/19 Harlequins Membership but must be claimed beforehand. For non-members, tickets cost £10 for Adults and £5 for Juniors and can be purchased here.
