Versatile forward Dave Ward was made Club vice-captain last season.
He joined Harlequins in 2012 from Cornish Pirates, a side he made more than 100 appearances for.
It was during the 2013/14 season that the former Bath, Northampton Saints and Sale Sharks man rose to fame with his electric form. Claiming five Man of the Match awards and becoming the pioneer of countless turnovers, he was the 2013/14 Players’ Player of the season. His efforts were rewarded by being named in Stuart Lancaster’s England squad for the 2014 tour of New Zealand, playing in the mid week win over the Crusaders.
Ward made his 100th appearance for Harlequins in December 2016, in the same season he would captain the Club in both the Anglo-Welsh Cup and Aviva Premiership against Newcastle Falcons.
Last season he had the record for most turnover ball won in the Premiership.
Away from the field, Ward has a passion for antiques and is Head Coach at Guildford RFC.
